Gu Rong, doctor, Associate Research Fellow of Nanjing University, Fluid (CNCF sandbox project) open source community chairman, Founding PMC Member of Alluxio Open Source Storage Project, focuses on Big Data and Cloud Native systems. Gu has published more than 30 papers in frontier journal conferences in TPDS, ICDE and other fields, presided over national, provincial and ministerial natural science fund projects, enterprise innovation research fund projects and many other projects. The research results have been applied to Alibaba, Baidu, ByteDance, Sinopec, Huatai Securities and more open source projects as Apache Spark and Alluxio, and won the first prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology in 2018. Gu has served as a member of China Computer Federation System Software Committee/Communication Committee of Big Data Committee, and a director of Jiangsu Computer Society/Secretary General of Big Data Committee.
