Currently the Director of Research and Project Manager of OpenMMLab in SenseTime. He graduated from Tsinghua University with a doctor's degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published more than 10 papers in top-level conferences and journals on computer vision, his papers have been cited more than 1500 times on Google Scholar, and has twice won the first place in COCO Competition, an international authoritative academic competition in the field of Object detection. The OpenMMLab open source project under his responsibility has won more than 35,000 stars on GitHub, which is an influential open source algorithm system for computer vision in the era of deep learning and has a wide impact in academia and industry.
